// Making of the Lusitanian Ghosts debut album.

Neil Leyton and Micke Ghost gather “tocadores” of Lusitanian (aka Portuguese) chordophone violas, forgotten by time and on the verge of extinction, incorporating the violas Amarantina, Beiroa, Braguesa, Campaniça, Terceira and Toeira into the Lusitanian Ghosts’ debut album. Recorded at Canoa Studios by Nelson Canoa, produced by Ricardo Ferreira (Blim Records) with a documentary film directed by André Miranda. Featuring Neil Leyton, Micke Ghost, João Sousa, Vasco Ribeiro Casais, O Gajo, Abel Beja, Guillermo de Llera, João Pascoal, Ricardo Ferreira and Nelson Canoa. All songs by Neil Leyton except “Memories of a Once Familiar Future”, written in the studio by Neil Leyton and Micke Ghost. Published by Lusitanian Music Publishing.
